The English indie rock band, alt-J, have added tour dates to their 2015 North and South American Tour in Las Vegas, Santa Barbara, and at Coachella. The tour kicks off at Festival Estereo Picnic and includes dates at Lollapalooza Chile, Lollapalooza Argentina, and Lollapalooza Brazil. Following those dates, the band heads to New York City for their Madison Square Garden debut on March 30.
2014 saw the release of their sophomore album, This Is All Yours, which went straight to number one in the UK. It was a good year for them; Spotify named them the “Breakout Artist” in their Year in Music review. This Is All Yours is darker than their previous work, not melody-heavy. Being “The Next Radiohead” is no easy task, because the lofty aspirations also require high expectations of adhering to an alt-rock standard.
