Amy LaVere had a little window of time before she hit the road this summer, so she did what any of us would do: shot a music video and released two new songs. The digital single is out now via Archer Records.

A-Side “This Bridge” is a song that came out of the writing sessions for LaVere’s next full length, “Runaway’s Diary”, set for release early in 2014.  “This Bridge” didn’t fit the album concept, but it really stood up well on its own as a single. Ward Archer of Archer Records and LaVere decided to release it as a “digital single”.  “We had a song without a home, but a song I sensed her fans would like,” he said.

And there’s a video – the digital single includes a download of a visually stunning music video for “This Bridge,” directed by Ardent Film’s Emmy Award-winning Jonathan Pekar. The video features some of Amy’s long-time collaborators, Steve Selvidge (guitar) and Shawn Zorn (drums).
