Blake Lively, better known as Serena in the teen drama series, Gossip Girl, has landed another endorsement deal.  Twenty-six year old Lively was just recently announced as the new face for L’Oreal Paris.  The unveiling of her as the latest brand ambassador for the French cosmetics brand is one to remember. Lively is not only the love interest to Ryan Reynolds, she is currently the face of serveral other prominent brands – including Gucci’s Premiere fragrance. She was hand-picked by none other than Karl Lagerfeld for Chanel’s Mademoiselle handbag and accessories line.

“I am thrilled and honored to join the incredible women who represent L’Oreal Paris,” Blake said in a statement. “From the versatile and motivational Brand Ambassadors, to all the women who proudly wear L’Oreal Paris each day. I grew up with the inspiration of their message, ‘We’re worth it.’ What an important value to instill in women. That beauty is rooted in confidence. That is key. That is why I’m so proud to be a L’Oreal Paris woman.”

Following the footsteps of mega-names such as Scarlett Johansson, Beyoncé, Julianne Moore and even Jane Fonda, she’s honored to join the prestigious brand. Her feminine pout, flawless complexion, and mile-high legs are just few of her graceful attributes. Last week, the brand confirmed the announcement on their French instagram account, issuing the following statement: “Blake embodies all the modern codes of Hollywood glamour. She is flashing a substantial swath of upper elegance and sensuality. She has become a beauty icon for a whole generation with her gorgeous gold-dipped hair, luminous gaze and drop-dead smile. Today, this strong, charismatic and definitely glowing actress is joining the L’Oréal Paris family. And we’re so proud to welcome her.”

Despite the ceasing of Gossip Girl and her film career on hiatus, there are still numerous beauty and fashion campaigns swooning over the retro-inspired ingénue.
