Following their sold out North American tour this spring, New Zealand duo Broods have premiered the official video for their current hit single “Bridges.” Shot around the picturesque Castaic Lake in the Sierra Pelona Mountains of California by esteemed director Dori Oskowitz (Jack White/Cee Lo/Passion Pit/Raphael Saadiq), the debut music video gives fans the chance to see this mysterious musical duo up close and on screen in their first video performance. Check it out below.
After posting “Bridges” on soundcloud and garnering more than half-a-million plays in just a couple of months, the brother/sister duo soon caught a deal with Capitol Records in late 2013, and released their self-titled and critically acclaimed debut EP in February of this year. Currently in the studio with Grammy Award winning producer Joel Little (Lorde/Pure Heroine), the band plan on releasing their debut album in North America this summer on Capitol Records, and in light of their recently sold out tour this spring, Broods plan on announcing more tour dates and bigger venues very soon.
Broods’ debut EP is available now on iTunes.
