In bold tones, bright colors and retro prints, Callula Lillibelle released a Spring 2013 collection made up of what seemed to be a time capsule of 70’s glamour. Floral patterned fabrics juxtaposed with solids in silk and satins were emphasized in the presentation, with flower clip accessories and chain necklaces bringing these vintage-inspired ensembles full circle. The throwback look was in keeping with the fashion world’s emphasis on pushing forward by looking backwards, and Lillibelle nailed the perfect balance between nostalgia and modern.
