CHRIS BENZ – NEW YORK – SPRING / SUMMER 2013 PRESENTATION
Inspired by the threat of a zombie apocalypse, Chris Benz unveiled his showcase for New York’s Fashion Week on September 10th. Extensive blush and light lipstick was used to help create the undead illusion, mimicking a look that pays homage to Rob Zombie’s The Devil’s Rejects. Whites and yellows with floral patterns reflect a rural vibe with the occasional splash of red and pink for vibrancy. The juxtaposition of textures, colors and fabrics was fresh and thoroughly modern.
