Groundbreaking band, Clean Bandit new single, “Rockabye,” demonstrates the genre-defying style of members The Untitled Magazine featured artist, Grace Chatto, Jack Patterson and Luke Patterson. The single features the vocal talents of Sean Paul and Anne-Marie of Rudimental. Already racking up over 17 million streams on Spotify, “Rockabye” is closing the gap on their 2014 Grammy-Award-winning hit, “Rather Be,” which featured Jess Glynne, who was interviewed in The Untitled Magazine’s #GirlPower Issue.
The track’s mixture of steel drums, classical string arrangements and upbeat pop sound is paired with a self-directed music video that has garnered fifteen-million views on YouTube, to date. Chatto discussed the story behind the clip, stating:
“We directed the video ourselves as always, and our Russian friends, Anya and Daria, helped to film it. The concept for the video came about after I met an Italian pole dancer earlier this year when I was living in Florence. She’s an absolutely amazing acrobat and the star of the video, playing the mother character in the song. The mother’s plight is to do everything she can to give her child a better life, but while doing this, she finds love and a talent for gymnastics and departs into a fantasy world.” -Clean Bandit’s Grace Chatto
