The first part of Coachella (April 14 – 16) is officially over but not to fear, The Untitled Magazine’s got your highlights here! To get you excited for the upcoming weekend, we’ve got the rundown of the best moments of the fest.

Lady Gaga

Lady G had crowds mesmerized from the first second with a killer intro video followed by a killer performance of mega hits including “Poker Face” and “Bad Romance.” The debut of a brand new song, “The Cure,” sealed the deal and by the end of her set, people were asking, “Beyoncé who?” No shade to Queen Bey though, Gaga even performed their duet, “Telephone.”

Kendrick Lamar

Kendrick Lamar can do no wrong. DAMN., his latest album, released two days ago and already has critics clapping. His Coachella performance was one for the books and featured special guest stars ScHoolboy Q, Future and Travis Scott; almost twenty songs, and a series of video vignettes starring the rapper himself as Kung Fu Kenny, a character featured on DAMN.

It seems like it has been ages since Lorde was on the scene. Coachella marked a welcome return for the twenty-year-old New Zealand star who performed brand new songs from her upcoming album, including “Green Light.”

Martin Garrix

COACHELLAAA was this even real???!!

Martin Garrix, who was recently featured in The Untitled Magazine, brought out his usual massive crowds. He hadn’t performed at the festival in three years and judging by his audience’s reaction – he was sorely missed. He brought out special guest, Dua Lipa, to perform their recent hit, “Scared To Be Lonely.”

Lana Del Rey

I’m not gonna lie- I had complex feelings about spending the weekend dancing whilst watching tensions w North Korea mount. I find It’s a tightrope between being vigilantly observant of everything going on in the world and also having enough space and time to appreciate God’s good earth the way it was intended to be appreciated. On my way home I found myself compelled to visit an old favorite place of mine at the rim of the world highway where I took a moment to sit down by the sequoia grove and write a little song. I just wanted to share this in hopes that one individual’s hope and prayer for peace might contribute to the possibility of it in the long run. Hope everyone has a nice day, with love from California

Lana Del Rey’s new album hasn’t even come out yet and she didn’t even perform at Coachella but she somehow still managed to make major music news at the festival. After leaving she stopped on the side of the road to pen a song about the disconnect between festival revelry and the state of the world. The folksy tune, which she posted on Instagram is getting better reviews than most of her concert performances.

Jeremy Scott

Is an event a success if Jeremy Scott doesn’t throw an after party? We don’t think so! The fashion designer topped himself with a soiree that celebrated Moschino’s new collection with the game Candy Crush. Katy Perry, Kylie Jenner, Travis Scott, Francis Cobain, Emily Ratajkowski, Kehlani, Rita Ora, Stella Maxwell, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Hill, Dilone, Serayah, Soko, Charli XCX, Coco Rocha, and Charlie Matthews all showed up to party the night away.
