COLDPLAY DROPS VIDEO FOR “TRUE LOVE” ABOUT BALLET AND LOVE

Coldplay has revealed a music video for “True Love,” the third single to be taken from the band’s latest album, Ghost Storieswhich came out this past May. The video was directed by Jonas Åkerlund, who worked with the band on their first single “Magic.” The video centers around a tale of two ballet-loving outsiders, played by Coldplay’s lead singer Chris Martin and Canadian actress Jessica Lucas. Donning inflatable bodysuits, the two of them find a mutual fascination for ballet, but for obvious reasons cannot pursue it, so they end up dancing with each other on a stage after a ballet performance. It’s funny and cute, and although the blow-up suits are kind of suggestive, the light-heartedness of the song prevails. “True Love” follows the album’s first two singles, “Magic” and “A Sky Full Of Stars,” both of which were UK Top 10 hits.
