Croatian born Damir Doma is proving to be one of the most talented up and coming designers to watch in the next few seasons. After working for Raf Simons and Dirk Schonberger, Doma decided it was time to open his own self entitled line in 2006 which is proving to be a wise decision. This collection was a great example of Doma’s promising talent, a darkly romantic collection with distinctive tailoring and an emphasis on breathable textiles that were draped in such a way to make the clothes appear as if they were actually floating on the models. Rich burgundy and blacks presented in an overall minimalist approach gave a very cohesive organic feel to all of the designs.
