Lucy Love and Linkoban are the #1 Female electro/grime/trap/rap/hip hoppers from Denmark who are making their US debut.   Both have been recognized and nominated for numerous awards from both P3 Guld and Danish DJ Awards.  Lucy Love won “Best Debut Album” for “Kilo” in 2011, she also walked out with “Best Urban Release” for “Poison”.  Linkoban is nominated in 2013 for a Danish DeeJay Award for the category “Best Urban Release.”

Lucy Love and Linkoban are both rooted in electro/grime/trap/hip hop however their styles and sounds are completely different yet universally appealing.  Lucy Love is the model of a modern star.  This award winning Danish electro/grime spitting hip-hop artist carries  a  posh gangster aesthetic of MIA and the flow of Lil’ Kim and a fashion style that is all her own.  She rose to fame with her art-pop offering “Daddy was a DJ”.  Watch Lucy Love’s video for “We are the Stars”

Linkoban is 1/2 Danish  1/2 Asian with the looks of a supermodel who can rap her ass off and has a darker side she likes to indulge in with a slicked-back swagger and a unique sense of style. Her image brings to mind the colorful comic books that she reads and collects for hobby. Her sound is a mix of ghetto tech and tropical punk, and she rocks a Chanel beanie like no other!   Lucy Love runs Superbillion Records and she also directs videos quite brilliantly and she directed Linkoban’s “Super Into On It”  –  This video would make Marilyn Manson proud!!!   You might agree Linkoban’s Harajuku horrorcore style is pretty rad (right down to the excessive amount of bloody tears)
