DUMBO Open Studios 2019 is an annual event where artists in DUMBO and Vinegar Hill open their doors to the public. This year, taking place on the weekend of April 27 and 28, artists across DUMBO and Vinegar Hill will open their studio doors, showing work across all media. Artists in DUMBO’s four artist residency programs – Art in General’s Artist in Residence Program, Sharpe-Walentas Studio Program, Smack Mellon’s Artist Studio Program, Triangle NYC – will also participate, as will the New York Studio School of Drawing, Painting, and Sculpture’s DUMBO-based sculpture students. DUMBO’s galleries will extend their hours throughout the weekend. This event is free and open to the public.
