After being announced for the xx-curated ‘Night + Day’ festivals across Europe, electronic auteurs Mount Kimbie are pleased to confirm they will be heading back to SXSW for a special one-off show before full European and US tours kick off in the spring.

A distinguished live band, Mount Kimbie will be performing at the Ray-Ban x SXSW Warehouse Broadcast party, alongside Death Grips, Skream, Lunice and Shlomo – they have also been confirmed for Field Day, Sound City, London Calling and will soon be announcing an intimate headlineLondon show. The band are additionally touring North America over May and June 2013, including a headline show at New York’s Bowery Ballroom.

The South London duo comprised of Dom Maker and Kai Campos are currently putting the finishing touches to their sophomore album – recorded in their South London studio and due out on Warp.

Since the release of their critically lauded debut ‘Crooks and Lovers’ on Hotflush Recordings, Mount Kimbie have played shows all over the world including Russia, China and North America, refining their live show to incorporate a drummer and quietly working on new material. Headlining last year’sEther festival on London’s Southbank, Mount Kimbie treated the sold-out crowd to a sneak preview of their new material album and will be sharing more details of a London show and the forthcoming album release shortly.
