GILES – LONDON F/W 2011 FASHION SHOW – VIDEO BY XXXX MAGAZINE

In Giles Deacon’s fall collection for his line GILES, borderline hippiesque acid-trip prints burst out from among dark and strict looks. Influenced by Victoriana and Edwardiana from the Victor and Albert Museum, the references to Victorian-era are most clearly visible in the high necklines and the other more subtle prints. The severity of some pieces speaks to the nature of the women they are designed for – dominating and waiting for the moment of release.
