Despite the cold weather in New York, The Governor’s Ball lineup is bringing the heat. Founder’s Entertainment has announced a lineup featuring Kanye West, The Strokes, and The Killer’s to name a few. Friday June 3 will begin three days of music, art, food, fashion, and entertainment. Located on Randall’s Island, the festival is sure to bring the best of Indie Rock, Rap, Electronica, Hip Hop, and Americana tunes to the city for the sixth year in a row.
Governor’s Ball will host 65 plus artists over three days, including performances by Death Cab for Cutie, Beck, Robyn, Haim, and Of Monsters and Men. Culinary options curated by The Infatuation will include some of New York City’s best gourmet food trucks and trend setting restaurants for hungry concert goers. Governor’s Ball, known for it’s economic impact as well as it’s music, generated $49 million in economic benefits for New York City in 2015.
