Just last year GRiZ and Gramatik joined forces to create the side project, GrizMatik. Since the release of their first single, “Digital Liberation is Mad Freedom,” the dynamic duo has proven to be a killer collaboration, which isn’t a surprise as they continue to play impromptu sets together at various festivals this year including Summer Camp and Movement Detroit, along with an official set at Electric Forest and more recently, Global Dance Festival at Red Rocks.

Over the last four months, the preview for GrizMatik’s latest single, “My People” racked up over 150,000 plays on SoundCloud and has been a massive hit ever since. This week GrizMatik released the full length version of “My People.

The official video shows just how dedicated GrizMatik fans are as the packed crowd dances to fight off the frigid temperatures that accompany an outdoor music festival in the Colorado Rockies during March. Taking place at this year’s Snowball Music Festival, GrizMatik displays the perfect definition of a collaborative act through their similar and yet diverse music styles that are fused together with unique elements of electro-soul, funk, gritty bass and live instruments.

On October 31, GRiZ and Gramatik team up to play the biggest GrizMatik show to date as they host an unforgettable Halloween night at the 1st Bank Center in Broomfield, Colorado. The duo will play their debut headlining show at the iconic 7,500 person capacity 1st Bank Center Amphitheater, where countless electronic music artists from Tiesto and Radiohead to Pretty Lights and Bassnectar have all made their mark.

As GRiZ readies his second full length album due September 14, which is also the first birthday for his Mad Liberation LP, you can catch him playing festivals such as Chicago’s Lollapalooza,
