Gucci started Milan Fashion Week off with a bang. On February 24th, Alessandro Michele sent seventy loud and lovely looks down the runway. For the famed house’s Fall/Winter collection, the designer mixed his wide-ranging influences (street style, the 1970s and 80s, the Renaissance, and Catherine de Medici) into a madcap mash-up of playful power suits, brocade coats, rainbow ruffles, colorful fur and embroidered evening dresses.
“The show set unified videos of nature, the lighting and original music, where every single element is synchronized,” Daniele Spanó, set designer behind the women’s #GucciFW16 fashion show. #MFW Watch the show by clicking link in bio. As if Michele didn’t fit enough into one collection, certain garments and accessories also featured a collaboration with artist, Trouble Andrew AKA GucciGhost.
