JASPER GARVIDA – LONDON S/S 2012 FASHION SHOW VIDEO BY XXXX MAGAZINE
Jasper Garvida graduated from Central St. Martins in 2004. Here he used fabric printed with a geometric and animal print mix to make wearable long and short ruffled dresses and sharp jackets with oversized collars. In contrast the collection included long white gowns with metallic gold sculptures, reminiscent of ancient Roman/Grecian goddesses, with armour style neck cuffs, metallic gold and chainmail sequined dresses with modern zip detail and pockets and black and white contrasting futuristic shirts with large ruffled fabric shoulders.
