JEAN-PAUL GAULTIER – PARIS F/W 2012 FASHION SHOW
Jean-Paul Gautier found inspiration for Fall 2012 in graffiti, punk, and 80s power dressing. Tailoring was sharp with a broad shoulder, accentuated with graffiti prints and pops of neon pink, blue, orange, and red. The looks were gritty and urban, with undone suits and striped furs that screamed rebellious glamour. The entire collection projected an image of downtown New York that was tinged with a Parisian fashion sensibility. The result was tough, bright, and glamorous all at the same time.
