JEREMY LAING – NEW YORK S/S 2011 FASHION SHOW

Designer Jeremy Laing was born in Canada and at the age of 13 learned to sew by watching his mother. Laing honed his self-taught skills by studying in Toronto, Westminister University in London, and doing an apprenticeship with Alexander McQueen. In Laing’s latest collection he was inspired by the idea of fluttering fabric with his signature angularity. Some of our favorites were leather pieces, black and white stripe dresses and the one-shoulder long black dress with front side slit. The rose printed fabrics were also quite beautiful and modern.
