Julien MacDonald’s Fall 2016 collection show at London Fashion Week was nothing short of glamorous on February 20th at London’s One Mayfair. What used to be a 19th century church, transformed into a a high fashion runway. Beginning with a plunging neckline shimmery dress, the tone was set for the rest of the show. Both male and female models walked the walk. Yet again, we see lots of cut outs, metallics focusing a creative twist on a neutral palette. MacDonald wove in his signature beaded to a few pieces within the collection. Male models were styled in pants that had multiple zippers and notable a few sheer turtlenecks. The women accessorized with bold, winged eyeliner and chunky, buckled shoes. For the finale, the model was accompanied by two children revealing plans of a Julien MacDonald Kid’s Line.
