Kate Moss dances in the dark, lighting herself under a naked bulb for Massive Attack‘s new video “Ritual Spirit”. Directed by Medium and Massive Attack’s Robert “3D” Del Naja, with vocals by British singer-songwriter Azekel, the video shows a lone Moss dancing spontaneously. Shot raw, without retouching, Del Naja said of the process, “I didn’t want to loose the essence of that moment…freestyle, none of us knew the outcome”. Animalistic and evocative, “Ritual Spirit” beautifully captures a freeing moment in time. “The dance invoked the spirit of the track perfectly – intimate and ritualistic” Del Naja added. Ritual Spirit EP is out now.
