LIBERTINE – NEW YORK – FALL/WINTER 2016 – FASHION SHOW

Libertine designer, Johnson Hartig, showed his out of this world Fall 2016 collection on February 15 at 6:30 pm. The use of imagery and bright colors within the garments was clearly the focal point. Cigarette patches, felt letters, and gems adorned various clothing articles on the runway. One of the most notable accents was a pair of Swarovski crystal hands with red nails radiating zig-zags through out the outfit giving off a positive vibe. Those hands made an appearance several times on outerwear, dresses, and tops. Capes were also a very important part of the Fall collection covered in a mix of gems, jewels, and patches. Hartig closed the show coming out with a sign, “Buy More Libertine” giving the show an overall political undertone.
