SYNOPSIS:
The fashion film Loner (2:15) directed by Zaiba Jabbar, features model Elina Mit. The film explores the delicate and alluring psychosis of an abandoned girl, and the decadence of her loneliness. Styling by David Motto with hair and makeup by Nelson Catarino and music by GR†LLGR†L.

Zaiba Jabbar is a self-taught filmmaker living in London. Zaiba studied graphic design at Central Saint Martins but has only one love and that is for moving image.
One of two winners of the ASVOFF and Vogue Italia Light Series competitions in Milan for her video for William Richard Green. Zaiba has worked with a number of commercial brands and smaller fashion labels, which include Aquascutum, Mulberry, Levis, Hint Magazine, Spring69, New look, David David, Hermione De Paula, Bordelle, and Charlie Le Mindu. Zaiba’s work is often featured and contributes to Vogue Italia, Vice Style, Fashion 156, Dazed Digital and ID ONLINE.

Graduated in Communication and Arts, in NY, after working at Vogue USA and PR Consulting, David is now a London based Stylist/Consultant/Creative Director working on features and editorials for various publications which include VOLT, DUST, i-D online, NYLON and as well as private projects.

Nelson trained as a Hairdresser at The Professional Institute for Hairdressing & Beauty in Portugal and after gaining work experience at the Isabel Queiroz do Vale Salon he decided to move to London.
He worked as a Senior Hairdresser at Toni & Guy. After being involved in various fashion shows backstage for Toni & Guy as a Hairdresser, he developed a keen interest in make-up and realized that make-up is what he really wanted to do.

Born in New York and raised in Miami to a cuban father and an italian mother. Gabriella left miami at 17 to study women’s wear at Central Saint Matins after turning down Parsons in New York. Since graduating from CSM in 2009 Gabriella started her own label. She works entirely alone. She cuts, polish’s and constructs all her pieces entirely on my own. Everything is made to order.
GMG pieces have been worn by the likes of Gaga, jessie j, skin from skunk anaisie. A few eccentrics around the globe…
