With a mix of emotionally-charged and upbeat 60’s inspired songs, NYC’s Lucius turned heads at this year’s SxSW, hailed as one of the best bands seen and heard at the Austin Festival.
The Brooklyn quintet has toured extensively since the release of its self-titled debut EP, and has just announced new tour dates in the East and Midwest. The new dates bring the band to its first headlining concerts in Toronto, Chicago and more. The tour kicks off with a sold-out performance at Brooklyn’s Knitting Factory. Fans will have another chance to catch the band live in NYC when they open for Caveman, April 10th at Webster Hall.
Lucius is: Jess Wolf (vocals), Holly Laessig (vocals), Danny Molad (drums), Peter Lalish (guitar) and Andrew Burri (drums/guitars). The band’s self-titled EP is out now, and was produced by Tony Berg (Beck, Aimee Mann), Steve Wall (Meshell Ndegeocello), and band member Dan Molad (Elizabeth & The Catapult, Here We Go Magic). Be sure to catch the band live!
