Madonna‘s 13th studio album is set for a March 10th release. The album is Rebel Heart, because Madonna is and has always been a true rebel queen from the beginning. After some of the demos were leaked in December 2014, it was announced that six would remain on the final album, and these were released through iTunes. At the same time, “Living for Love” was released as the album’s first single. On February 6th, Madonna released the music video for “Living For Love,” 24 hours after its premiere on the Snap Channel on Snapchat Discover. The Material Girl was the first superstar artist to premiere a video through the photo sharing app, which allows viewers to see a picture or video once before the file is immediately deleted.
The “Living For Love” music video was directed by J.A.C.K. – Julien Choquart and Camille Hirigoyen, and will be released by Interscope Records. In it, Madonna is dressed as a matador, dancing in between clips of a strange masked man with horns dancing on all fours – the bull, I’m assuming.
Rebel Heart will be available as a 14 track Standard release (digital and physical), a 19 track Deluxe version (digital and physical), a 25 track two-disc Super Deluxe version (physical only) and on vinyl. Be on the lookout for Madonna’s performance at this year’s Grammys on February 8th, and check out the video for “Living for Love” below:
