March in Miami brings Ibiza to South Florida, where thousands of electronic music artists, producers, and fans gather for the annual Winter Music Conference and Miami Music Week. Last year’s Winter Music Conference hosted over 2,100 different artists at 133 different venues, and with the continuing surge in popularity of electronic music, this year’s events are expected to be even bigger. Nearly every notable electronic musician, from established veteran classics like Paul Oakenfold, David Guetta, Kaskade, Deadmau5, Tiesto, and Benny Benassi, to edgy newcomers like Art Department, Blood Diamonds, Azari & III, Baauer, Designer Drugs, The Juan Maclean, Neon Indian, Moguai, Nicolas Jaar, Bicep, and Matthew Dear will be making appearances. Other favorites include Nervo, Avicii, Swedish House Mafia, Jamie XX, Disclosure, Pete Tong, Porter Robinson, Pretty Lights, RAC, Seth Troxler, Soul Clap, and (literally) hundreds more.
Festivities range from tradeshows and exhibits held at the Miami Convention Center, workshops, and DJ spin-offs to all-day festivals, all-night DJ performances, poolside parties, and beach bashes.
