New York society gathered on Thursday, April 16, 2015 for the 12th Annual New Yorkers for Children Spring Dinner Dance – “New Year’s in April: A Fool’s Fête,” presented by Saks Fifth Avenue. This year, NYFC payed tribute to fellow board member Oscar de la Renta, celebrating his impact on NYFC’s programs and development. Guests included his widow, Annette de la Renta, and numerous friends such as Eliza Reed Bolen, Alina Cho, and Julie Henderson, many of whom wore clothes from his line. Models Liu Wen and Grace Bol, Arizona Muse, along with Valentina Zelyaeva, Bill Cunningham, Fern Mallis, Linda Fargo, Susan Shin and The Untitled Magazine‘s Indira Cesarine were also in attendance. The event raised over $725,000 for NYFC’s programs with the 11,000 New York children in foster care, tutoring programs, and job training, aiming to help the children of New York build a better future.

New Yorkers For Children (NYFC) works in partnership with the Administration for Children’s Services (ACS) to improve the prospects of children supported by the child welfare system. With a focus on young people in foster care, NYFC supports programs that promote paths to stable adulthood through education and sustainable relationships with caring adults.
