Nouvelle Vague, the brainchild of French producers Marc Collin and Olivier Libaux, have just premiered the Dream Koala Remix of their cover of the Joy Division classic, “Love Will Tear Us Apart.”
The ambient track appears on the group’s upcoming EP, Athol Brose, which will be available September 2nd and is their first new musical offering in six years.
Nouvelle Vague started in 2004 by appropriating classic hits from the 80’s and 90’s. Since then they have sold more than one million albums globally. Their latest material marks a transition for the band – for the first time they will be debuting original compositions. Their forthcoming LP, I Could Be Happy, is set for release this November and includes new remixes recorded with live musicians.
