Since the release of 22-year old Porter Robinson‘s album Worlds this month, it has gained much recognition in the EDM scene. The electro-house album has acquired the position of #18 on Billboard 200’s Top 20, #4 on iTunes Top 5 and #1 on iTunes Electronic Chart. Fader has named Porter an “EDM prodigy” and The New York Times states that the album has “Gorgeous textures, contemplative storytelling and remarkably sharp melodies.” Worlds was inspired by Porter’s nostalgia for fictional, digitized universes and reflect on his deep, personal introspection of himself. Coinciding with the album release, Porter also released a video for single “Flicker” – watch it below!

Most excitingly, Porter will soon begin his first-ever live tour. His shows will consist of 32-foot screens, 96 lighting fixtures, 480 streamer tubes, 1,600 pounds of confetti, and 15 50-pound tanks of CO2 – all of these elements combined together to give the audience a visually surreal experience, such as a hyperreal video-game fueled dream that has come to life. Check below for tour dates!
