The Fall/Winter 2016 Collection for Ports 1961 debuted during Milan Fashion Week on Saturday, February 27th. This is the creative director, Natasa Cagalj’s first Milan runway show since starting at the brand 15 months ago. Tailoring proved to be a key part of the collection. Both fitted and over-sized styles graced the runway. An abstract element of large slits appeared throughout the collection particularly in the coats and tops. A recurring accessory with many of the looks was either a long trail or a ribbon tie. Cagalj also mixed various fabrics to encompass the fall/winter season in predominantly neutral tones.
