LONDON ART FAIR 2013
The 25th edition of London Art Fair took place from 16-20 January 2013. London Art Fair is UK’s largest fair of Modern British and contemporary art. A total of about 23,500 people attended the event over its duration.
Displaying a wide array of mostly UK artists, as well as up-and-coming galleries from all parts of London. The show was divided in various sections, some focusing on emerging art, such as Art Projects, or photojournalism, as it was at Photo50.
Art Projects received special accolades for being a platform for younger galleries that represent more contemporary, stimulating artists. Some of those names include Ceri Hand, Limoncello, Hannah Barry Gallery, and others. Art Projects helps these new artists reach a broader audience and build a wider appeal to collectors.
Photo50 is the annual exhibition for contemporary photographers. This year’s show was titled ‘A Cyclical Poem” and it examined change and the passage of time in the history of photography.
