On February 25th, Miuccia Prada sent layered looks down the runway that continued the season’s Magpie-like trend of piling it all on.  For Fall/Winter, the designer was inspired by the many complexities of women, stating, “We need to understand who we are now….Maybe it’s useful to look back to the different characteristic moments, difficulties, love, no love, pain, happiness, different kinds of women.” With fifty-two looks, Prada definitely created enough pieces to suit every personality and time period. Models wore brocade full skirts and dresses, chunky sweaters, tailored jackets with fur sleeves, quilted outerwear, and argyle tights, all cinched together with the help of various waist belts. In a continuation of Prada’s menswear show, prints were created in collaboration with artist, Christophe Chemin.
