Sumptuous fabrics in pink, red, cobalt, and green hit just the right note of sophisticated lady-like elegance at the Rachel Roy Fall 2012 show.  The collection managed to balance modern trends with a sense of timelessness and practical wearability and functionality.  The hem’s of the architectural A-line skirts hit demurely just above the knee and were complimented by delicate, wrist-length gloves. Roy was inspired by the documentary Women in the Dirt, which informed the “modern landscape” of her collection.
