New Zealand sibling duo, Broods, have announced that they will release their second album, Conscious, on June 24. Fans have the exciting chance to pre-order the album with an added bonus of instantly getting their hit single, “Free”, and also the first chance at tickets for their upcoming North American tour.
Their first single off the album, “Free”, has been heating up the music charts. It is approaching over three million streams worldwide. The song has also been featured in the Top 10 on Spotify’s U.S. and Global Viral charts. The recently released music video, directed by Jessie Hill, already has almost half a million views.
The group, comprised of Georgia and Caleb Nott, recently finished a series of West Coast shows with Ellie Goulding. On April 18th via a live stream on Facebook, Broods gave fans some details on the upcoming tour. It will kick off on August 1st in Washington, DC. They also announced dates in New York City at Webster Hall and Los Angeles at The Novo. The presale will begin on April 20th and tickets go on sale to the public, April 22nd.
Conscious, is the follow up to their debut album, Evergreen. Two singles from their debut, “Bridges” and “Mother & Father”, did well on the Billboard Music Chart. Joel little, who has previously worked with Broods and also Sam Smith, Ellie Golding, and Lorde, serves as the executive producer for the album. This album will feature an exciting duet with an Untitled favorite, Tove Lo, and a song the band co-wrote with fellow New Zealander, Lorde.
