SORBIER – HAUTE COUTURE RUNWAY
Franck Sorbier’s Haute Couture collection was a conceptual work of art, literally. Only two gowns were featured, one black and one white. The latter became the canvas for a virtual retelling of the classic French fairy tale, Donkeyskin. Colourful images danced across the dress, the audience captivated by the story of a widowed king set on marrying his daughter, and how she cleverly escapes his grasp by demanding a series of impossible gowns.
