Steinway & Sons, manufacturer of the world’s finest pianos, celebrated the launch of company’s new Steinway Spirio, the world’s finest player piano system. The event held a chic, private reception at the One Kearny Club in San Francisco. With the San Francisco sunset as a backdrop, Steinway CEO Michael T. Sweeney, joined by other high-profile Steinway executives such as Steinway CMO Darren Marshall, Steinway President of the Americas Ron Losby, and Steinway GM of California Gavin English, and co-hosts Shannon Bavaro and Peter Getty welcomed the glamorous crowd. This included some of San Francisco’s most notable cultural, social, philanthropic and business leaders.
Guests were treated to an exclusive demonstration of the new Steinway Spirio courtesy of the acclaimed young classical artists, Anderson & Roe Piano Duo. The pair performed two original “dance” works on the Steinway Spirio- tango and sabre dance-and their beautiful performance was captured and replicated for the rapt crowd.
