On the evening of November 13th, 2014, designer Stella McCartney was honored with the 2014 Women’s Leadership Award at Alice Tully Hall in New York. As an ardent designer, who is anti-fur and anti-leather, it comes as no surprise that the environmentally-conscious designer was awarded. In addition to seeing Paul McCartney, her father, the crowd that came out to support McCartney included Yoko Ono, Jeff Koons, Cindy Sherman, and many more. McCartney also recently delivered the keynote speech for the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Award (and was the first woman to do so).
