On March 7th, Stella McCartney showed her Fall/Winter 2016 collection during Paris Fashion Week. Her newest collection was not the only debut happening;  British recording artist, M.I.A’s, “Ola” played publicly during the show for the first time. McCartney is usually known for producing collections that women not only love, but also wear. Ruffled, bib accents were a theme among tops and dresses, which were loose fitted with drawstring waists. Swan motifs appeared on various pieces throughout the show. One of the highlighted pieces was a acid wash denim jacket turned into a dress and cinched up the side with elastic bands. The designer is a well know vegan and made sure to incorporate her beliefs into the show. Puffer jackets were a large part of this collection. Perfect for a day look that could transition into night, puffer jackets were created in velvet and jewel tones. The puffers were stuffed with feather-free wading and the cropped bomber jackets were made with skin-free skin, an ode to the vegans beliefs. To really get the point across, the song “Get Yo Tofu On” by Snaxx, also played during the show with the lyrics, “I’m a vegan bitch!”.
