It was a party in the streets last night as KIWI Arts Group celebrated the success of their four current projects alongside Gallery Shchukin in the heart of Miami Design District. The four buildings on the corner of NE 40t and 1st Avenue featured the work of attending artists David Datuna, William John Kennedy, and The Hilton Brothers, Christopher Makos and Paul Solberg.
Stephen Dorff, Fabian Basabe, Martina Borgomanero Bsabe and Patrick McMullan hosted throughout the evening while DJs Harley Viera Newton and Umber Band-iville spun from the buildings rooftop, overlooking the crowded street. KIWI’s guests sipped on cocktails provided by ZYR Vodka, Miami Club Rum, Chambord, Peroni and Perrier while giving their taste buds a treat with an assortment of hor d’oeuvres provided by Latin House Grill.
The anticipated collaboration from David Datuna with Google Glass, Viewpoint of Billions had a constant line of guests anxiously waiting their turn to try on Glass and experience the interactive artwork. “Andy Dandy” from The Hilton Brothers, and Robert Indiana and Andy Warhol collections shot by William John Kennedy were housed in the three adjacent buildings.
