Just as we saw in New York Fashion Week, deep blues (of both the navy and royal variety) were on display in Talbot Runhof‘s gorgeous Ready-To-Wear SS2013 line. According to the fashion house’s press release, one of the biggest initial influences of the season’s line were photographs of the ruins in Detroit. With a strong emphasis on muted tones and rough textures, it’s clear that Detroit still served to explain what makes the female form such a perfect display for garments. Bold geometric patterns and two-tone body-con dresses made for a perfect balance between elegant and modern. The show’s electro soundtrack sent the message home: only wear it if you can rock it.
