The Council of Fashion Designers in America (CFDA) Awards brought out the best in the international fashion industry on Sunday, June 5th at The Manhattan Center’s Hammerstein Ballroom. Those who were nominated have made outstanding contributions to American fashion in womenswear, menswear, and accessories, as well as journalism, creative vision, personal style, and lifetime achievement.

Raf Simmons won Menswear and Womenswear Designer of the Year awards

After dinner, the awards were announced with a few instances of laughter and tears.
