November 20th turned out to be a great night for musicians Ariana Grande, Selena Gomez, Drake, Zayn Malik, Justin Bieber and others who tallied up trophies at the 2016 American Music Awards. Malik was rewarded for his decision to leave One Direction in pursuit of a solo career by taking home the trophy for New Artist of the Year. Grande took home the ultimate prize for Artist of the Year. Bieber gained four new awards for Favorite Pop/Rock Male Artist, Favorite Pop/Rock Album, Video of the Year, and Favorite Country Song. His ex-beau, Selena Gomez scored Favorite Pop/Rock Female Artist. Drake also won big. He took home the trophies for Favorite Rap/Hip-Hop Artist, Favorite Rap/Hiphop Song, and Favorite Rap/Hip-Hop Album, as well as sharing a win with rumored crush, Rihanna for their duet, “Work,” which received the award for Favorite Soul/R&B Song. RiRi also won for Favorite Soul/R&B album and Favorite Soul/R&B Artist. While Beyoncé and Adele didn’t make their usual ceremony sweep, neither diva went home empty handed. Queen Bey won for Tour of the Year and Adele snagged Favorite Adult Contemporary Artist.

While the awards show was an epic night for music, its super stylish attendees made it an even greater night for fashion. Lavishly dressed musicians, models and actors graced the red carpet and enjoyed entertainment from Bruno Mars, Niall Horan, Chainsmokers featuring Halsey, Lady Gaga, Fifth Harmony, Maroon 5 featuring Kendrick Lamar, Shawn Mendes, Ariana Grande, Nicki Minaj and Twenty-One Pilots. From all the award-winning looks, here is The Untitled Magazine’s list of the red carpet winners.

Black Dresses of 2016 AMAs
Teyana Taylor in Steven Khalil, Chrissy Teigen in Yousef Akbar, and Milla Jovovich in Elie Saab

Teyana Taylor: Shows off her Hollywood glamor side in a stunning Steven Khalil bustier lace gown. Due to the gown’s extreme lace detailing and plunging heart neckline, Taylor can get away with little jewelry, save a simple silver necklace.

Chrissy Teigen: Besides the “minor” wardrobe malfunctions that photographers caught from the side, Teigen pulled off an extreme split dress effortlessly-from the front. Teigen paired the dangerous Yousef Akbar dress with a Monique Lhuillier Clutch. How she handled the malfunction definitely earns her a place on this list.

Milla Jovovich: The multi-talented Jovovich showed some skin in an Elie Saab split-legged and star detailed floor length gown.

White Outfits on the 2016 AMAs Red Carpet
Lady Gaga in Brandon Maxwell, Gigi Hadid in Roberto Cavalli, and Halsey in Ermanno Scervino

Lady Gaga: Wearing a flattering, sleek Brandon Maxwell suit with a matching hat in honor with her newly released album, “Joanne”. Gaga’s pant suit had people wondering if this was a political statement reflecting Clinton’s iconic pant-suits.

Gigi Hadid: No shocker that co-host Gigi Hadid is once again on the best dressed list, this time wearing Roberto Cavalli. Hadid matches this timeless lace gown with a trend-worthy choker necklace.

Halsey: Sporting her signature G.I. Jane haircut, Halsey may be the only one who can flawlessly pull-off a 70’s jumpsuit/straitjacket Ermanno Scervino suit and accessorizing with an Edie Parker Clutch.

Best Dressed 2016 AMAs
Hailee Steinfeld in Elie Saab, Selena Gomez in Prada, and Zoë Saldana in Monse

Hailee Steinfeld: Heads turned as Steinfeld showed off her highly detailed Elie Saab romper, paired with a matching belt and striking magenta lips.

Selena Gomez: Gomez wows the AMAs in red for the second year in a row wearing Prada an Cartier. This fabulous pop-star picked up an AMA for favorite Rock/Pop Female Artist. She was also nominated for Artist of the year.

Zoë Saldana: Looked patriotic in her shimmering off the shoulder outfit, overlaying a black jumpsuit. Saldana’s black and red trimmed heels complemented the red, white and blue stripes.

Black and White Outfits of the 2016 AMAs Red Carpet
Janelle Monáe in Marc Jacobs, Taraji P. Henson in Celine, and Ciara in Stephane Rolland

Janelle Monáe: Steps out of her gender-defying tuxedos, but stays with her retro vibe, to rock the black and white 20’s pin-stripes from choker to toes. The outfit was finished with a futuristic Anya Hindmarch Clutch.

Taraji P. Henson: Henson looked comfy and put together in a Celine shirt dress perfectly paired Jimmy Choo heels. The outfit allowed Henson’s bold lips and high arched eyebrows to be highlighted.

Ciara: Thanks to Stephane Rolland, glowing mother-to-be Ciara dressed her bump perfectly with a gorgeous black and white gown.
