THREE WAYS TO SEE ELLE KING IN CONCERT THIS YEAR

“Hiatus” doesn’t seem to be a word in pop star Elle King‘s vocabulary. The pop, blues, and rock’ n ‘roll singer concluded her sold out US headlining tour in April and is now performing at a slew of festivals, the most recent of which include Governors Ball and Firefly. Before her last festival date, the “Ex’s & Oh’s” singer is also supporting the Dixie Chicks on their tour from September through October. Just when you think she couldn’t do it all, from October through November, King is going back out on the road for another US headlining tour that will begin in San Diego, CA, and end in New York, NY. Tickets became available to the general public today, June 24th, at 12 pm EST.

To add to her success, the sassy singer’s new single “Good Girls” is featured on the Ghostbusters” Original Motion Picture Soundtrack, which will be released July 15th. If you’re in New York next month, catch “America’s Sweetheart” performing as part of the Good Morning America Summer Concert Series on Friday, July 15th. King has also stepped out of her own genre for a duet with Dierks Bentley, titled “Different for Girls.” The pair will perform the single at the upcoming 2016 CMT Music Awards.

Aside from performing, Elle King is taking a powerful stand against gun violence. In light of the recent tragic murder of singer Christina Grimmie and the mass shooting at Pulse nightclub in Orlando, King has joined almost 200 celebrities, editors, and music executives in support of Billboard’s “Open Letter to Congress.” The letter begs Congress to do something about the horrible gun violence plaguing the US, including requiring a background check for every gun sale. Billboard’s cover of the letter includes signatures from King, Justin Timberlake, Selena Gomez (a longtime friend of Grimmie), Lady Gaga, and the Dixie Chicks.

Wow. King is truly a force to be reckoned with. Make sure not to miss our exclusive interview and photo shoot with Elle King for The #GirlPower Issue by Indira Cesarine as well as our behind the scenes video of her performing her hit song “Ex’s & Oh’s”!
