VFILES, the youth-community driven brand, presented its latest array of designer’s collections on Wednesday, September 5th at Barclay’s Center in Brooklyn. VFILES is known for its eccentricity and individuality, and for the first time ever, the brand offered admission tickets to the general public—making it a grand extravaganza of clothes, music, fresh talent, and an explosion of clamor from its invitees.
The arena was filled with more than three thousand guests, making it the biggest show ever. Along with the runway designer winners, Elena Velez, MARRKNULL, Shuting Qiu, and WINDOWSEN, the brand presented its debut collection, VFILES YELLOW LABEL. Worn by Lil’ Kim who closed the show with a long flirty strut along the runway, the brand’s debut collection gives ode to the community they represent—fresh, youthful and overly bizarre (in a good way).

Performances by artists from the VFILES Community included Barbieboy, Jewnique, Danays, and Jean-Luc, while the front rows were brimming with influencers and fashion icons such as Amanda Lepore, Paris Hilton, and Carmen Carrera.

The new lucky designers that showed their collections at the VFILES runway will sure make headlines in the fashion seasons to come. VFILES is known for putting brands like Namilia and Discount Universe on the radar.
