The Watermill Center presents the 22nd Annual Summer Benefit and Auction Gala on July 25th at the Watermill Center. The benefits’s theme this year will be Circus of Stillness… the power of wild beasts.

Last year’s event, One Thousand Nights and One Night: Sleepless in Scheherazade, was a great success for the foundation, raising $2.2 million dollars to support the Center’s International Summer Arts Program and the Artist Residency and Education Programs. It is only to be expected that the organization continue that success at the upcoming event.

The Watermill Center is a laboratory for performance art, providing an unique and welcome environment for emerging artists to express their many talents. The Center is operated by the Byrd Hoffman Watermill Foundation. The organization’s summer benefit joins the worlds of theater, art, fashion, and design in a single night to celebrate creative ideas and achievements. Its participants come from over 25 different countries to create performances and art installations throughout the center.
