The Yigal Azrouël Fall/Winter 2015 collection “embodies a cognitive clash of individualism against a system.” The collection drew inspiration from Man Ray, Malevich, and Bauhaus, chosen for their untraditional approach to art and design. The collection features asymmetrical silhouettes, bold color blocking and formulaic patterns. The deliberate irregularities found in details were carefully constructed through distinct graphics. The fabrics included texturally rich furs and metallic embossed jacquards, accented with deep jewel tones melded with crisp ivories. Overall, the show displayed modernism through smart suiting options and dramatic dresses.
