Ruth B. rose to fame in 2015 with her single “Lost Boy,” but has flown under the radar since. Her soothing take on pop/R&B-inspired music gives her a distinct voice in the genre.

Ingrid Andress

With only three songs available to stream on Spotify, Andress is a very new artist to watch, focusing on feminist-inspired lyrics.

King Princess

While King Princess has gained a somewhat substantial following, she still has yet to release a full-length studio album. Her talents span across the vocals, instruments and production of her songs.

The Aces

With The Aces, you get four powerful female musicians for the price of one. The all-girl band, led up with vocals by Cristal Ramirez, recently released their first studio album, When My Heart Felt Volcanic.

Lizzo has been around for a while and just released her third album, Cuz I Love You, the most popular yet for the singer-rapper. With her song “Truth Hurts” having been streamed over 116 million times, Lizzo is finally getting widespread recognition.

Izzy Bizu

Isobel Beardshaw, known professionally as Izzy Bizu, is an English singer-songwriter known for her unique take on soulful pop music. She’s performed with major recording artists like Coldplay and Sam Smith during their UK tours.

LÉON (Lotta Lindgren) just released her first full-length, self-titled album. Her distinctly deep voice brings an interesting and unexpected sound to her traditional, indie-pop music.

Dorothy Martin has one of the most distinct female voices in music right now. Reminiscent of 60s desert rock, Dorothy released their second major album in 2018, 28 Days In The Valley.
