Jay Z took out the top tally with nine nominations for his Magna Carta… Holy Grail, while 17-year-old newcomer Lorde skipped over a Best New Artist nomination to snag four big category spots, including Record of the Year and Song of the Year for ‘Royals‘. Justin Timberlake took out seven nominations, although just missed out on an Album of the Year spot for his highly Grammy-tipped album The 20/20 Experience, while the race for Best Rap Album is one of the most hotly talked-about categories this year, with Drake, Jay Z, Kendrick Lamar, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis and Kanye West all up for the top spot.

The Grammy Awards will be held on Sunday, January 26 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
