The 2025 fair introduced a wealth of expanded programming, including four days of AIPAD Talks, which featured thought leaders from arts and culture. These discussions offered visitors deep dives into the evolving landscape of photography, providing insights into current trends, technology, and the global art scene.

The AIPAD Award Ceremony, held on the evening of April 23rd, honored a pioneer in the field of photography, celebrating their transformative impact on the medium. Alongside these lectures and panels, the Educational Walkthroughs allowed guests to engage directly with the works, guided by curators and experts who offered deeper insights into the showcased pieces.

The fair also introduced a Discovery Sector, spotlighting emerging galleries through single-artist or themed presentations, alongside more established historical exhibitions. This new section allowed visitors to explore the cutting edge of contemporary photography, alongside its rich history.

The Park Avenue Armory was reimagined as a center for photography enthusiasts. The Wade Thompson Drill Hall, known for its grandeur, played host to publishers showcasing their works, underscoring the importance of book publishing in contemporary photography. The Armory’s seamless blend of historic architecture and modern design created the perfect backdrop for the exhibition, enriching the overall experience.

The fair opened with a VIP Preview on April 23, welcoming industry professionals, collectors, and press. Public hours followed from Thursday to Sunday, with a special Night of Photography on Friday, April 25, attracting a dedicated crowd of photography enthusiasts eager to experience the latest in visual storytelling.

The AIPAD Art Fair 2025 once again solidified its position as a premier event in the world of photography, offering visitors a comprehensive and inspiring look at the future and history of this powerful art form.
